Corporate Management Team
To execute our corporate vision we have formed a corporate management team with a unique mix of professional, academic, and government experience to complement our advisory board. Together, we can be successful in establishing A.J. Rhem & Associates, Inc. as a leader in the technology industry worldwide.
The following are the current members of our management team and a brief background of each member.
Anthony J. Rhem, Ph.D., CKM – President/Principal Consultant
Dr. Anthony J Rhem is an Information Systems professional with more than thirty (30) years of experience. He is a published author and educator, presenting the application and theory of Software Engineering Methodologies, Knowledge Management, and Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Rhem serves as a Professor and Director of Research at The Knowledge Systems Institute – Master of Science Knowledge Management Program. In addition, as a researcher with the Principle Investigators Association, Dr. Rhem conducts webinars that address various research problems and issues.
Dr. Rhem consults with venture capitalist and investment firms, specifically pertaining to technology innovations, best practices, and trends. As a Knowledge Management (KM) consultant Dr. Rhem consistently serves as a KM advisor, KM strategist, Information Architect, and KM governance strategist. He has played an integral role in the successful implementation of KM systems, KM methods, and KM strategies in several industries, including financial, insurance, retail, telecommunications, and military.
Dr. Rhem’s current advisory work includes Board of Trustees Knowledge Systems Institute, Industry Advisory Board – International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE), Technology Council of Advisors Gerson Lehrman Group, International Bar Association (IBA) Law Firm Management Sub-committee on Knowledge Management and IT, Advisory Board for American University Professional Science Master’s Degree Program. He is also a member of the National Science Foundation SBIR (Small Business Innovative Research) Review Panel.
David Schneider, COO
With more than 25 years of experience as a software engineer, David Schneider has worked in aerospace, private industry, banking, automotive, medical, and Federal and local government. During his career he has successfully delivered complex systems in very chaotic environments. He delivers software solutions that streamline operations, and create efficiencies to increase greater returns on investment.
Mr. Schneider has worked successfully in offshore models, and has been put in charge of bringing work back onshore to ensure that no knowledge was lost in the transfer. He was able to initiate several measures to lower the cost of operating in an onshore only mode, while increasing quality and meeting deadlines.
His professional background has provided him extensive experience in process engineering, integration processes, integrating organizational change strategy with process disciplines, and developing and applying project management practices while streamlining operations, creating/gaining efficiencies, and delivering results.
As a professional software engineer, David has provided engineering support to large software modernization and sustainment efforts. Tasks include creation/review of engineering technical documents and contractual documents that assist in the planning, organizing, and performance of projects in accordance with systems engineering methodology identified by the customer.
Howard Hill, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hill is a very involved and committed executive who has more than thirty (30) years of business and community experience both on the local and national levels. He has extensive knowledge in the financial and accounting disciplines. He has served on numerous boards, both business and community.
Mr. Hill has proven ability to understand financial matters and move an organization forward. He has a significant record of accomplishments in managing multi-million dollar businesses. Mr. Hill is responsible for providing financial and accounting guidance for the organization
Lula M. Greenhow, Chief Certifications Officer
With thirty-five years in public administration, managing and monitoring the development, implementation, and administration of required Federal programs, Ms. Greenhow has expert knowledge of Federal laws, case laws and studies, regulations, procedures, precedents and practices governing the major areas of government programs. She also draws on broad experience in planning and designing Human Resources programs.
Ms. Greenhow has a solid understanding of the needs of small and disadvantaged businesses to achieve access to private and governmental contracts. Ms. Greenhow is responsible for providing guidance in establishing government contracting vehicles for the organization.
