Purpose:
This course will provide an overview of Artificial Intelligence and focus on the aspects of Knowledge Based Systems. Each participant at the conclusion of this workshop will have a general knowledge of the disciplines which comprise Artificial Intelligence and know how to construct and implement a Knowledge Base System.

Description:
This course will examine the various sub-groups within Artificial Intelligence, explore some of the languages involved in constructing Knowledge Based Systems (Lisp, Prolog, C/C++, Smalltalk and Shells) and construct a Knowledge Based System (User Interface, Knowledge Base, Inference Engine and Explanation Facility).

Audience:
This workshop is appropriate for Systems Analyst, Application Designers and
Programmer/Programmer Analyst. Individuals are required to have a basic knowledge of
systems analysis and programming.
